Informatics in Biology, Health and Food

Journal of Informatics in Biology, Health, and Food is an interdisciplinary, open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal published both online and in print, biannually, in both Persian and English language. This journal dedicated to the publication of high-quality research and review articles that advance the field of bioinformatics and its application across various biological disciplines. The journal aims to serve as a central platform for the dissemination of significant scientific findings and innovative computational methodologies that drive our understanding and application of informatics in biology, medicine, and food sciences. Additionally, the journal welcomes research in general biology, Health, and food sciences, including microbiology, biotechnology, molecular and cellular biology, genetics, plant and animal biology, biophysics, biochemistry, various fields of medical and paramedical sciences, nanotechnology and food sciences that may not involve informatics directly but contribute to our overall understanding of these fields.

All articles published in this journal are freely available online. Readers can copy, download, and print articles at no cost.

No fees are charged to the author(s) for review, refereeing, acceptance, and publication.

Ethical guidelines for publication are based on the best practice guidelines of the journals' Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The Journal of Informatics in Biology, Health, and Food accepts all types of articles, including original research, reviews, letters to the editor, case reports, and short reports that are in line with the journal's goals.

Please refer to the Author Guidelines section before submitting your article. Articles that do not conform to the journal's standard format will not be submitted for review.

All submitted articles are reviewed using Samim Noor's similarity-finding software, iThenticate.
